Benjamin Kloss has been working at Peter Lang since 2004. After studying Hispanic language & literature, English language & literature and psychology at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Salamanca, he worked as a research fellow at the Free University of Berlin from 1999 to 2004, where he was awarded a PhD in Romance studies. As a senior acquisitions editor at Peter Lang, he is responsible for Romance studies, Slavic studies, philosophy and education.

Laurel is Senior Acquisitions Editor for the Language, Literature and Culture list. She began working in the publishing industry in 1995 and joined Peter Lang in 2010, after completing a PhD in Literature with a focus in French and German. Her core commissioning areas are modern languages and literatures, cultural studies and visual culture. She manages specialized series in memory studies, cultural history, women’s writing, genre fiction, comparative literature, film studies, art history and translation studies, among others. She has recently launched new series in critical race studies, medical humanities, disability studies, and plant and animal studies. She is delighted to speak with scholars about new book and series proposals.

Laurence Pagacz is responsible for Peter Lang’s Latin American list. She is committed to supporting authors to publish their projects from and/or on Latin America in this highly ranked publishing house (5th position, SPI ranking). Previously, she was with Peter Lang as publishing director of the Brussels office. She holds a Ph.D. in Latin American literature from the UCLouvain university and is a scientific collaborator at the same university. Languages: Spanish, French, English.

Lucy has been working in publishing since 1995 and as the UK and Irish Director of Peter Lang since 2011. With overall strategic and commissioning responsibility for the UK and Irish divisions, Lucy is also responsible for the History, Theology and Religious Studies, and Social Sciences lists. She acquires manuscripts in the areas of African development, ethics (including business ethics), religion and theology, media and communication, sport history, trade union history, and British Mesolithic and Neolithic studies, amongst others. She also commissions books in the history and culture of Scotland, aspects of British identity since 1707 and queer studies. She is always interested in receiving new series ideas.

Thierry Waser holds an MA in French literature and contemporary history from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He started working for Peter Lang in 2008, first in the Bern office, before joining the Brussels office in 2015, where he works as the deputy managing director and senior commissioning editor. He speaks French, German and English. Subject areas: History, sociology, linguistics, philosophy, law, ecology and environmental studies.

Philip Dunshea is Senior Acquisitions Editor for the Humanities at Peter Lang, managing series on History, Literature, Culture and Religious Studies. Philip has an MA (Hons) in History from the University of St Andrews and an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Newly arrived in North America from Scotland, he is based in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Previous roles include Acquisitions Editor for History and the Social Sciences at Peter Lang.
